JACKSON, Miss. - Wednesday afternoon, the Mississippi House passed an anti-transgender bill, SB 2536. This bill prevents transgender student-athletes from participating in sports as the gender in which they identify.

Senators are Trying to Fix a Non-Problem, Says ACLU of MS

Jackson, Miss. – Mississippi senators today passed SB 2588 after over an hour of debate on the senate floor. SB 2588 would make it easier for election commissioners to remove voters from the voter rolls. It targets voters who have failed to vote just one time.
