JACKSON, Miss. - Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance on November 20th that honors the memory of transgender individuals who were victims of anti-transgender violence. It also serves as a day of awareness to the hate crimes endured by transgender individuals. The American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi, LGBTQ Fund of Mississippi, Grace House, The TRANS Program, The Spectrum Center, Mississippi in Action, Human Rights Campaign of Mississippi, Capital City Pride and our many community faith leaders will hold a service and reception this Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Summit Belhaven in observance of the day.
 

Who: The American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi, LGBTQ Fund of Mississippi, Grace House, The TRANS Program, The Spectrum Center, Mississippi in Action, Human Rights Campaign of Mississippi, Capital City Pride and our many community faith leaders. 

What: The groups will hold a service and reception on Transgender Day of Remembrance, an annual observance of transgender individuals who were victims of anti-transgender violence.

When: Sunday, November 20, 20222 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. A reception, featuring light refreshments and an open wine bar, will follow at 6 p.m.
